Buying Jewelry - What Type? - What Price?
She would be happy and surprised when she opened the box and saw that he picked out such beautiful jewelry as a crystal necklace. These were perfect. He thought of Grace. Beauty for the beautiful he thought as he exited the mall with the gift box in hand.
He knew she often wore a necklace. She wore them with sweaters every day. But, she also wore them with low-neck dresses.
Maybe she had too many bracelets though. He knew she loved earrings. She had many pairs of them in all colors and types. However, he knew she would like these especially since they came from him. Grace was a sensitive girl.
In one display case, there were countless necklaces. He saw one with pale green stones. Another was the same style but with pink stones. He priced that on because of the soft color.
He examined the necklaces with more than one stone and decided they were intricate and delicate. He liked those. Then his thoughts turned to earrings. There were a lot of those to look at.
Turning to thoughts of earrings, he checked out the rows of rhodium earrings in one display case. He discussed the stones and materials with the saleslady. She talked to him about quality and price.
He was glad to learn a little bit about jewelry. He hadn't thought much about it before. As they chatted, his eyes caught sight of the earrings in the next case.
He talked about the special evening he had planned to celebrate his girlfriend's twentieth birthday. He would take flowers when he picked her up. Then they were going to dinner where they would sit in their favorite booth. He already had the reservations made.
He had called to arrange for them to bring out a small cake after the meal was over. Of course, they would sing the birthday song as they set it on the table. Chocolate was her favorite. Fortunately, it was his too. They seemed to have so many things in common.
After dinner they would take a walk in the park, unless it was raining. Then, they would go to a movie. He knew one that was playing that they would both like. He was a sensitive guy who knew her taste in movies.
Then his eyes lit up when he saw one certain pair of swarovski earrings. They were substantial and long. He was sure they would look great against her slender neck.
When she opened the box she would be really surprised. The earrings could become her favorite pair. They made a great birthday surprise He wanted Grace to enjoy every minute of the special evening he had planned. He left with the earrings packed in a gift box.
